It may have been a bitterly cold night, but that didn’t stop us from raising the roof off the grandstand in the RDS prior to the Leinster v Ulster Guinness PRO12 match even if there was only 50 of us. And, as it was all in support of a very good cause – the Alzheimers Society of Ireland, the cold didn’t really seem that bad (ok, our feet were like blocks of ice). In the overall scheme of things, we probably outshone the match itself!
What a fantastic night on Thursday, 26th November. In one of the biggest gatherings outside of our end of year concerts, over 400 of our members entertained the crowds at the turning on of the Christmas Tree for the start of the I Believe in Christmas markets at the CHQ building. We sang through our full repertoire of 1st term songs not once but twice as everybody was so enthralled with our performance. Well done to everyone involved and for bringing so much Christmas cheer to the festivities.
Members from Naas, Lucan and Ballyroan provided the entertainment at the Rathfarnham Red Cross Party held Beaufort. Another great afternoon from all accounts. Well done to all those who took part and to Fiona who led them along the way.
Can you see yourselves in any of these photos? We have received a number of photos from various classes as they practice their moves and songs. Jazz hands and The Locomotion to the fore! Lots of smiling faces as well. Great to see everyone enjoying themselves so much.
