Who are CÓRus classes for?
CÓRus singing classes and choirs are open to men and women over 18yrs. CÓRus appeals to those who love to sing but perhaps don’t yet have the confidence to join a choir or sing in public.
In CÓRus we believe that we all have the right and the ability to sing. We want to give everyone the opportunity to learn to sing with like-minded people in a fun and relaxed environment.
People coming along to one of our classes do not have to audition or be able to read music.
CÓRus uses a unique and simple method of teaching singing, harmony and movement that is easily accessible to all.

How do I sign up for a class?
Anyone interested in coming along to a CÓRus class can simply register your interest online here or check out their nearest venue on our classes page and go along ten minutes before class start time and register at the door. Newcomers can attend a ‘try out’ class to see if it’s for them before they commit to joining for the term.
People can also join by going to our payment page and using a credit/debit card or Paypal account to make a payment, making a note of your Paypal receipt number on your payment envelope or printing off the payment receipt and taking that to the class of their choice as proof of payment.
You can register for one term at a time or for all three terms. There are a number of payment options available – please see the payment page
How much does it
CÓRus offers fantastic value for money. Our classes run for an hour and a half and cost €110 for a ten week term – with three terms each year running from Sept – May. (Córus operates a sliding scale rate for those joining later in a term).
On receipt of class fee, you will receive class materials and an identity card which entitles you to attend any of our classes. You may go along to one or more classes each week. So if you cannot attend your own class for any reason you can go along to another so as not to miss out.
CÓRus also runs up to three joint rehearsals a year which are free to class members and offers additional vocal workshops at a subsidised rate.
CÓRus classes are also invited to participate at various events during the year which are fun and exciting to take part in.
Class members are invited but not obliged to take part in any activity outside of class.
Well done to all our members who took part in the Darkness Into Light event in Marley Park on 7th May. It was such a memorable night and fantastic to be part of such a wonderful event. A special mention also to those of you who turned up to our Joint Rehearsal in City West the following day after being up half of the night. Such true dedication!
Only two weeks to show time and excitement is mounting! Tickets are selling fast. Go to www.helix.ie to secure your tickets for family and friends.
